For thousands of years, Haucatay has been used by indigenous Peruvians as a way to cure infections and disease, it also plays a signifcant role in the flavors of Peruvian cuisine. Its bold scent, bright color, and rich history make it an excellent addition to any space of significance to you or your loved ones. Indigo is sacred to many cultures around the world, with this particular variety having roots in Japan. 6000 years of tradition, care, and the passing of knowledge have led to the indigo plants before you today.

These floral offerings, are bound together twine hand dyed in a traditional Japanese Madder Vat, built with indigo grown, harvested, and processed in the Heart of Baltimore City.
