Baltimore is a city of many neighborhoods. Despite the distances, we are so grateful that there are always bridges that bring us closer. For Good Neighbor’s Design Camp, we are excited to bring the conversation and creation home to Blue Light Junction.
From 2:30- 4 pm, there will be a hands-on workshop, garden walk, and conversation with Kenya Miles of Blue Light Junction and textile artist Shradha Kochhar. Light refreshments and snacks will also be provided.
Shradha’s work with handspun cotton on a charka (Indian spinning wheel), utilizes knitting and embroidery techniques to create stunning soft sculpture and tapestries as a process for connection and grief. Learn more about her work here: https://www.shradhakochhar.com/
