  • Community Collaboration

    For deeper, co-created work. This includes community-centered programming & collaborative public events. We work in partnership with facilitators, teaching artists, and cultural practitioners whose work aligns with BLJ's mission of craft, material knowledge, and intergenerational exchange. Collaboration may take the form of a single workshop, an ongoing series, a community-centered event, or a deeper co-created partnership.

  • Studio Rental

    This option gives independent facilitators full control over registration, pricing, and participant communication, with access to BLJ's studio space and equipment.

    Our studio is a working space that has been transformed through years of collective care into a functional, material-rich environment for making. If you have an established practice, your own audience, and a clear plan, this option gives you access to that space.

  • Consulting & Product Development

    We are open to working directly with artists and makers interested in small-batch production development. If you are exploring plant-based dyes, natural pigments, or sustainable material processes and want a studio partner to experiment and develop alongside, bring your practice to BLJ’s Alternative Color Lab.

    The Lab also offers consultations and guidance around natural dye processes, plant knowledge, garden development, workshop design, and building a sustainable plant-based practice.
