Welcome in the Lunar New Year through creativity, light, and tradition. Paper flower lantern making is a meaningful cultural practice, rich with symbolism—honoring renewal, intention, and new beginnings for the year ahead.
Join local artist and community member Rosa Sung Ji Chang for a hands-on workshop where participants will design and assemble their own paper flower lanterns. For the past four years, Rosa has been leading paper flower lantern making workshops in the local community, creating a welcoming space for connection, shared intention, and collective good wishes—while drawing inspiration from her broader creative practice and her childhood cultural roots.
Open to all experience levels, this workshop offers a calm and joyful environment to slow down, work with your hands, and celebrate the season together.
