GATHER AT
BLUE LIGHT JUNCTION

Blue Light Junction functions as a working studio, teaching space, and cultural hub, grounded in material knowledge, preservation, experimentation, and community engagement.

We built this space for making, teaching, and sharing. Now we're opening it to organizations, community groups, creative teams, educators, and mission-aligned businesses that need a thoughtful place to plan, learn, share, and create.

Studio Rental &
Creative Team Experiences

Blue Light Junction Studio is available to rent as a gathering space. Whether you are looking for a space to host a retreat, a working session with your team, a small-group educational and creative experience, or a workshop, we offer different ways to use the studio.

  • STUDIO RENTAL

    Host a workshop or event

If you already have your audience, your registration system, and a clear plan, and you only need the space, this option gives you full independence.

Use the studio for workshops, multi-session classes, team retreats, artist talks, presentations, reading groups, or a small public program.

You manage registration, communication, activities and planning, payments, and promotion. We provide the space and our standard studio equipment.

  • CREATIVE ENVIRONMENT STYLING

Let us style the space for you

We can transform the studio for your gathering through artistic styling and thoughtful placement of materials, objects, textiles, plants, lighting, and furnishings.

Styling does not include full-service event planning, catering, or participant management, and can be included as a service for the studio rental.

CREATIVE TEAM EXPERIENCES
& EDUCATIONAL VISITS

Blue Light Junction also offers studio space for customized, hands-on experiences for organizations, businesses, and community groups seeking opportunities to gather, learn, create, and connect.

  • CREATIVE TEAM EXPERIENCES

    Make something together

Our hands-on sessions are built around your group's goals, and they connect people to plants and place through craft traditions. They may include natural dyeing, indigo, painting with plant and earth pigments, garden-based learning, and collaborative artmaking.

They work well as team-building days, staff retreats, professional development, or informal afternoons of making. If you already have a space, we can bring the experience to you and your team.

  • EDUCATIONAL VISITS

Bring BLJ to you, or come to us

We also welcome schools, colleges, youth programs, and community groups that are interested in an educational visit or a hands-on experience for their students.

The student group can visit the studio for a guided garden and studio tour, an introduction to natural dye practices, and hands-on sessions such as indigo dyeing or painting with plant and earth pigments. We can also visit your school or organization for an artist talk, presentation, conversation, demonstration, or hands-on activity.
