Día de los Muertos 2025 Celebration at BLJ

It is with sadness that we have paused our annual Día De Los Muertos gathering at the studio this year, but continue to nurture and hold close the memories of our past gatherings. This Día De Los Muertos, we are reflecting on last year's celebration, when participants made chocolate craft with Jinji, processed through the garden, held a community altar and shared an evening filled with light and reflections from those in community and who came to honor their loved ones.

These photographs were taken by our friend Brian O’Doherty, who beautifully captured last year’s celebration and has been instrumental in bringing the essence of the studio to life through his images. Thank you, Brian, for your generosity and support.

This Day of the Dead, we wish everyone an evening filled with warmth, surrounded by the objects, offerings, legacy and stories of your loved ones.
