Conversation + Material Exploration w/ Sunaina Bhalla

We are back this October for the Station North Art Walk, an open-to-the-public event: An Artist Talk + Material Play with Sunaina Bhalla
Sunaina will introduce her processes and histories that inform her work as a textile artist. Visitors will have an opportunity to encounter Sunaina’s practice through conversation and hands-on material exploration with block printing.
She’ll also be presenting selected sculptural works from her Saree Project, where she works with the saree as a second skin—an intimate cultural object carrying histories of femininity, inheritance, labour, and identity.
Join us for an evening centered around textiles, material, process, and exchange.
