Natural Dyes with Master Soon Nam

Blue Light Junction is excited to welcome The Potomac Fiber Arts Guild to the studio for a special workshop offering.

The regionally based Potomac Fiber Arts Guild will be hosting a Natural Dyeing Workshop at the studio with their visiting artist, Master Soon Nam Kwon of Uiseong, South Korea.

Experience Traditional Korean Natural Dyeing Using Uiseong Safflower and Indigo.

The Guild also invites the BLJ community to attend Master Kwon’s presentation at their monthly in-person meeting on Oct. 10, 10:00-Noon (free), where she will share how her sustainability practices support Korean traditional crafts, conveying stories and values, connecting and creating a deep, meaningful experience.
