“Walls that Recall”: Tapestry & Printmaking w/Vetiver

“Walls that Recall” turns to block printing as a way of preserving cultural practice and personal narrative — printed with pre-carved wood blocks and natural pigments made from plants. The workshop marks the launch of Vetiver's Roots Design Studio, grounded in African diasporic and ancestral traditions of working with land.

Over two sessions, participants first build a community tapestry together and practice natural dyeing, then move into individual printing — each person leaving with their own block-printed piece.
